The average cost of fencing also depends on the type of fence you would like to install on your property. e.g. Colorbond as opposed to timber fencing.
What is the most popular type of residential fencing?
For residential fencing in Brisbane, timber or wood fencing is the most popular fencing type across Brisbane. They can be painted any colour and have 15+ year life span.

They can provide documentation from their insurance company to show that they hold the correct cover. This insures the public will be covered for any liability issues that occur during the project. We strongly recommend that you use a licensed contractor for your protection.
Who is responsible for identifying where property lines are?
It is the property owner’s responsibility to identify where they want their fencing built. If they are concerned about property lines, we suggest they locate them or have the property surveyed. You can often identify your property lines from the approved building plans and comparing them to site points, such as drainage, walls, fences and existing properties next to yours.
Can I stain a timber fence?
Staining a timber or wooden fence is up to the property owner. A timber fence will normally grey over time as the wooden boards become weathered. Many Australian property owners like the initial colour of the fence, but over the years it will become grey so you may want to stain it to give it extra protection against the weather. Staining it should maintain that color depending upon the product you use and may require staining every two years. Staining the fence does not necessarily prolong the lifespan of the fence itself, but it will look much nicer if it is stained.
Does Chainwire fence come in different colours?
The normal color for chainwire or chainlink fence is a light grey or silver. To have a coloured chain link fence, we offer vinyl coloured chainwire in a variety of colours. One of the most popular colours for chainwire fence is black as it is more elegant looking and blends into the landscape. However some customers may prefer a different color such as green if they want to fence their tennis courts. Choose a colour that works better with your landscaping needs.
Are you fully Licensed?
Yes we are fully licenced with the QBCC as Structural Landscapers. Licence No 15135165.
We carry full public liability insurance cover ($20Million) as well as Worker Compensation insurance.
How long will it take to finish my fencing project?
This depends upon the size of your project and the nature of the jobs already in progress both in our manufacturing and in the field.
It may take a few weeks (2 – 5 weeks based on the volume of work in progress) before we can begin your project. It’s best to ask our estimator, Harry Burnett, for a time frame of when you can expect to have your project installed and completed. Some projects take time to order the materials if we don’t have them in stock, and others (i.e. ornamental iron) take time to construct the item from scratch. Typically, for our fence projects, we come out on day 1 and set posts; we then have a 2 – 10 day gap to allow the concrete post footing to cure. Then we will return and finish installing the fence and gates.
What other work do you do?
As licensed structural landscapers, we install concrete pathways, plinths and mower strips, install concrete and timber sleeper retaining walls and carry out our own excavations related to this work.
